Tashi Delek!

Voir Lhasa et mourir... What can I say? A dream come true. I'm staring in awe at the Potala Palace everyday and I still can't believe it... The weather is gorgeous, the altitude of 3700 meters did not affect us as we thought it would (although I find myself short of breath here and there...) We visited the Potala and the Jokhang Temple so far (and we wandered around all the little streets). We skipped the Norbulingka since everybody agrees to say it's a rip-off... The food is fantastic, the people are friendly and have a great sense of humor I find. I need permits left and right to travel within Tibet but I can go to Nam-Tso Lake without one tomorrow... We'll see what I can do later. Now, if you'll excuse me, the Potala is waiting.
