Jeez, I Did It Again!

Yes, I taught again! I can't help it... I'm currently couchsurfing wwith my friend Neil in Kunming; he's teaching English at the University so he asked me to class today for a little improvised skit: I showed up to class as if I was their new teacher and started speaking french and writing stuff onm the board. The kids freaked out until Neil showed up. It was hilarious. I then introduced myself and we had them work in groups before having a Q/A session. It was fun. I think I like the idea of being an itinerant teacher (and no lesson plans or grades or any crap like that...) Anyhoo, I'm hanging out with Neil, meeting the locals, still enjoying the (spicy) food and having fun. I should have gotten out of here last week already but this place is awesome. I'm also waiting for Jessica to get here (tomorrow) and we'll head North Yunnan before going to Lhasa (Westerners need a permit to go Tibet...) I can't wait to get there!
